Any excitement by the Mass Effect 3 announcement on VGAs?

I don't know if there are lots of gamers around here or not, but I'm super excited that Bioware finally anounced Mass Effect 3 at the VGAs on Saturday.

Not to mention it was such an awesome looking trailer! Looks like it's gonna be so much fun! And I hope that we'll get to explore Earth as Bioware sees it in the future....even if it's being destroyed by Reapers.

I do worry though as I often play a female Shepard (I do play male but female more often) and playing ME2 I picked Thane Krios as my romance option. I worry he'll die or be dead by ME3.

Anyways, can't wait for ME3 (it annoys me that it won't be out until holidays next year but....just gotta be patient). So any thoughts? Hopes, dreams, wishes? Any ME1 and 2 stories to relate?
